Easter

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. It sure is different this year, no doubt. We won’t be able to gather as we normally do but the message of new life is still all around us. A couple weeks ago Gabe went down to the swamp and harvested armfuls of Pussy Willows, the first flower of the spring. He’ll mix those in with cut flowers for sale at the Farmer’s Market next summer. We’ve got our potatoes and onions in the ground now. Peas, too. Hope to get spinach and lettuce sown soon. Amy is anxious to turn the water back on so we can re-open the mill but she knows that there may still be a few hard frosts so we’d better wait. The chicks are growing fast, the ducklings faster. I’ll post some pictures of them soon.
