A full 40% ALPACA! In Medieval and Renaissance times, purple and burgundy were the colors set aside for royalty and the very rich.  Why?  Because those colors were so hard to find and very expensive to obtain. Combine these two tones with a rich, deep, gold, and you have roving fit for a king!  Made from  40% ALPACA, 30% borderleister wool, and 30% tunis wool,  ROYAL CREST is  super-soft, and easy to spin or felt!  Team  ROYAL CREST up with khaki, stone, brown, jeans, tan, olive, purple,  or  black slacks or skirt. Can't you just see a  sweater  knitted from ROYAL CREST? Or how about  felting a wallhanging from  ROYAL CREST? 

All our rovings here at JJFARM are hand-washed, hand-dyed a pound at a time; picked and carded on our own mill equipment too. No harsh chemicals are used to scour the wool, hence no prickles from bleach and chemical reactions! We put pride and a lot of hard work into making the softest fibers blends we can, making sure that EACH and every fleece we pick and skirt by hand is of the utmost softness. We strive to make high quality, fantastically soft, spinning and felting fibers that are still affordable to our customers. That's our goal!
