Little Lake

It is said that Michigan has 1000 lakes.  Actually, I think there may be a few more than that.  Just around where I live I can count 6! Our lakes here in my great state sparkle in the sun, and usually have sandy bottoms. I made this beautiful roving with all our little lakes in mind. Little Lake is wonderfully easy to spin, but is still amazingly soft! Made from 35% ALPACA, 30% borderleister wool, and  35% tunis wool,  Little Lake will float through your fingers when spinning, and felt just as nicely!  Team Little Lake up with tan, brown, khaki, jeans, navy, blue, or  black slacks or skirt. Can't you just see a great scarf and hat set  knitted from Little Lake? Or how about felting a bag from Little Lake?  This wonderful roving has been washed, hand- dyed, picked, and carded at our woolmill right here on our farm, so you can be sure of high quality!
