Insulated coffee mugs and sport drink bottles are great for keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Starting with a 16 oz coffee mug or sport bottle we then wrap it in wool roving and felt the wool in place. Screw on lid w/ sipping slot keeps hot liquids securely inside the bottle. Sport bottle has a screw on lid with "leash' holding to the bottle--no lost lid.  No leaks either.. Thick felt will wear and wear, giving many years of durable service. Washable, too.
